Using the service
Typing Games is free to use. You may create an account, join a class with a code your teacher gives you, and use every practice mode, game and tournament feature. You're responsible for keeping your password private and for what happens under your account.
Acceptable use
Don't:
- Automate keystrokes, use a script or macro, or otherwise submit a run you didn't type yourself. Every result is server-verified from a keystroke log, and a submission that doesn't match a genuine typing pattern is flagged.
- Attempt to access another person's account or another class's data.
- Use the service to harass another user, including through anything you type into a shared or public field.
- Click on advertisements displayed on this site with intent to generate revenue rather than genuine interest — this can get the ads that support the site permanently removed.
Accounts
We may suspend or remove an account that violates these terms, including accounts used for cheating or abuse. If you're a student added to a class by a teacher, your teacher or their school may also have their own rules for using the account.
No warranty
The service is provided as-is. We work to keep it available and accurate, but we don't guarantee it will be error-free or uninterrupted, and we aren't liable for grades, assessments or other decisions made based on data from this site.
Changes
We may update these terms as the service changes. Continued use after a change means you accept the update.
